TERMS & CONDITIONS
Services Scope and Points to Note
‧ Clients are required to provide
texts and image files necessary
for artworks design.
Remark#
Additional fees for stock images,
typewriting and images
editing(e.g.removing images
background, images fine-tuning,
etc.)may be incurred.
‧ J&T Design and Printing Co.
("The company") will follow the
basic requirements and
concepts agreed by clients
as a design direction.
(e.g. expressive forms,
meanings, keywords,
colors and its tonality, etc.)
‧ Any comments and matters
made by both parties
(The company and the clients)
are necessary to be conveyed
by emails, WhatsApp or in
written format as a key record.
‧ The work scope of artworks
design shown in the quotations
shall prevail in case of any
discrepancy. Clients are necessary
to review clearly about the
quotation details. If there are
any corrections that need to
be made, please inform the
company before signing-off.
‧ The quotation is valid for one month;
After which it is needed to re-quote.
‧ For those parties in same sector or
subcontractors without prior informed
consent, the company reserves the
rights to terminate the services or
orders and will not refund the deposit
or any amount incurred from the orders.
‧ Definition of office hours: The company's
office hours are counted as one working
day. Our office hours are Monday to
Friday 10:00-19:00. Close on Sunday.
‧ The deposit shall be incurred if the
signed quotation is returned by the
new customers, or the total amount
exceeds HK$10,000. Moreover, the
working time will start counting when
all the materials for artworks design
are duly collected.
‧ The company shall finish the task in
an agreed timeline. The working
schedule shown in quotation shall
prevail, for monitoring the working
progress.
‧ Upon receipt of the artworks,
clients should review and confirm
within three days. The duration
for artworks review is counted in
the working timeline. If the review
duration is lagging behind, the
next round of revised artwork will
be extended correspondently.
OFFICE HOURS
DESIGN FEES
‧ The design fees mutually agreed
by both parties is in Hong Kong
dollars, and the quotation version
shall prevail.
‧ For those new customers or the total
amount incurred for the order exceeds
HK$10,000, 50% of the total amount
will be imposed as a deposit and it
must be settled by cheque, bank
transfer or in cash before the order is
confirmed. For overdue payment, the
company reserves the right to charge
an additional fee of 1% of its total
amount as a penalty in a weekly basis
and is to be accumulated until the
payment is settled.
‧ If the clients commit breach of
contract, the amount of deposit will
be regarded as liquidated damages
and will not be refunded.
‧ General terms and conditions for
artworks design will be shown in
the quotation, including the amount
of drafts and revision times. If
the revision times is more than
those mentioned in the quotation,
the artworks delivery schedule
will be re-arranged upon mutually
agreed by both parties. Also, the
company reserves the right to incur
additional charges for the revisions.
‧ The fee for significant revisions
on the artworks design is to be
negotiated.
Revisions and Additional Costs

‧ Clients should clearly ensure the
relevant information, images and
texts provided for artworks design do
not commit the copyright infringement.
‧ The company will take the full
responsibility if the artworks
design commit copyrights
infringement, except for those
under the client's instructions.
‧ Generally, the copyrights of the
artworks design belong to the
company whereas the clients
settled all the payment for the
artworks design. If they have
artworks proceeded with printing,
or other businesses and promotions
purposes, it will be regarded as
violating the company copyrights.
‧ Even though the term "the client
has the copyright to all artworks
produced by J&T Design and
Printing Co." is mentioned in the
quotation, the clients shall also
commit copyright infringement if
they have artworks proceeded
with printing, or other businesses
and promotions purposes before
settling all design fee. The company
reserves the right to take necessary
legal action against any parties to
protect our rights and resources.
Litigation and Disputes
‧ For any disputes between clients
and the company, the aforementioned
terms and conditions shall prevail.
‧ If the terms and conditions is violated
and is to be brought up to a lawsuit,
both parties agree to proceed with
Hong Kong legal procedure.
Amendment
The aforementioned terms and conditions is applicable for those quotations valid on 1 January 2010.
